Any attempt to remove or tamper with the hologram will cause the hologram to self destruct leaving behind a honeycomb residue. The TRISTAR hologram is impossible to be restored once it has been tampered with.

TRISTAR Autograph Authentication Process
Step 1
Each item is signed under the direct supervision of a TRISTAR representative.
Step 2
A numbered TRISTAR hologram is affixed to all items signed at TRISTAR shows and private signings.
Step 3
Hologram number and all applicable data is recorded into TRISTAR's online verification system.
Step 4
Go online and verify the authenticity of the signature by entering the hologram number.
